  1. I am not sure when PS5 will release but PS4 still sells about 1million unit per a month, so the timing to release PS5 is really important for Sony corp.

  2. Personally, it is a dream to play winning eleven 2020 by PS5 in the same time of Tokyo olympics. So, hopefully PS5 is coming to next year..

  3. I don’t like analyst projection because they alway forecast a thing by fiscal condition and market trend. In addition, they may not have interest of games and have never played Play Station.

  4. I heard rumors that PS4 games will all be playable on PS5, so I’m pretty sure that it will not be released during this year when PS4 are still selling like crazy. I doubt that Sony will not inform developers in advanced on when they will plan to release it because there won’t be any games by the time they release it if they won’t give a heads up. Then here you see a ton of new games still being queued.

And also look at it this way. The gaming PC industry have just released Ray Tracing on gaming, so I would bet my 2 cents that one of the new major features of the upcoming PS5 would be Ray Tracing support with the NEW games only for PS5, and those PS4 games that could support it — if they make PS4 games playable on this newest console.

  5. hm, interesting predictions on when they’ll release…however, by that time I’m sure PCMR would’ve pushed even further into Ray Tracing tech…so if the PS5 or consoles in general would want to stay relevant, they better catch up to PC soon…

  6. Looking forward to the PS5 though I still love my PS4 and even planning on getting a PS3 AGAIN. I hope PS5 gets to be backward compatible though, I have this stash of PS3 games that need some attention.
